The Sino-German conference of manufacturing is a yearly meeting that takes place in Shaoxing (China). Shaoxing is located roughly two hours east of Shanghai in the east Chinese province Zhejiang. The province is home to roughly 60 million people.
Companies in the region are in search of cooperations with companies, especially in the area of manufacturing technologies. The 3 day conference was visited by company representatives from China and Germany.
For the 2019 conference, the key-note speeches were given by Hermann Simon (Simon, Kucher & Partners) and Hans Uszkoreit (DFKI). The conference comprises forums for “Manufacturing and Digitalization”, “Integrated Circuit” and “Healthcare”.
I was invited as a representative for NovelSense UG, a German Tech Startup giving a company presentation on the usage of AI and sensor technology.
